I want to put Dan Hall from Region 7 (Golden State) on the list of a wing doing a good job. I am about a year out on getting my coupe flying. I know I will need a lot more technical help and after that I am looking forward to socializing.

For what's it's worth...
Since joining EOC and becoming NC Wing Leader, I have hosted six (6)
Fly-In's (with the help of dozens of others.) with each attracting eight (8)
to fourteen (14) Coupes, Alons, Forneys, Mooney M-10s, per Fly-In along
with five to fifteen other aircraft showing up.
Skip has attended every single one and as always offered meaningful
technical data and support.
Carolyn does a great job with the Newsletter and is always willing to help
when you have a request.
As far as the EOC being only social is concerned, I remember being
cautioned once by Skip not to offer so many door prizes so that folks don't
start coming for the wrong reason. We meet to share a common interest,
encourage one another, and solve mutual problems.
I consider it an honor and privilege to belong to EOC.
(I must confess, however, we don't spend much time talking about rocks.)
