I am curious about the firewall stifner located at the top forward side. This angle looks like it is at a slight angle from the top to aprox even with the upper engine mount connection. My plane # 187 does not have this, and I cannot find a callout in the parts catalog nor a listing in the service bulliten/ad list.
Can someone enlighten me as to the requirement and need.
