Tim,
I have the single fork and have been flying without the restricter
cable for about 22 years. No problems at all. My friend Arden Krueger
(who won the Outstanding Ercoupe Award at Oshkosh this summer) also has
the single fork and has been flying without the restricter cable for
about 6 years. No problems either.
