Hello, Craig,

I have located and re-read your post. I remembered everything you wrote. However it is not sufficiently detailed to do us much good. Check my questions again, please. My basic question for your friend - an IA !! - is what was the cause of the failure?? Which side? Closed or open at the time? Latch or roller failure? Surely, if a person that qualified, who worked on his own M-10 (?) and didn't notice anything suspicious about the canopy rigging then it may be unreasonable for me and/or my mechanic to properly inspect it. So, what are we to do? Please check with the guy, and perhaps put one of our Couper mechs (DeMarzo, Nelsen, Cooper, etc.) in touch with him. Thank you.  Don
