I am pleased to report that N87071 flew for 1/2 hour yesterday, first test flight after major engine overhaul (5 months grounded). We need to address a couple of discrepancies: the generator is not working and there is a very minor oil leak around the vacuum pump / fuel injection pump hole filler plate. We turned the engine on for the first time Saturday. It started promptly after just a few turns. Oil pressure came up very quickly. Thanks to all for your moral and technical support.
