I think there's a fellow from Nuvite on the email list, Dennis Smith, IIRC.  
Always super helpful when it comes to explaining the finishing products.  Had 
the pleasure of spending a few minutes with him at OSH in '05.  If he doesn't 
chime in, try to email or call him directly.

       I've been talking to several people about the Nuvite finish and their 
objection is always the time involved to keep the finish looking good AFTER 
going through the polishing process.  They assume it takes huge amounts of 
regular maintainance to keep the shine.  Is this true or would one expect the 
same time involved as caring for a painted surface?     
       My wheel covers are bolted on aluminum circles which I've been shining 
up with off-the-shelf polishes from the hardware store.  After experimenting  
on these, I'm encouraged to try other selected parts with the Nuvite products.  
It's amazing how reflective aluminum can be!
