I'm not sure that Lexan was ever spec'd, maybe just plain old plexi. On a side note, realize that Lexan is just about unbreakable which may be good in all situations except when you need to exit the craft in an emergency. Lexan will also scratch easier but it certainly easier to get in nice colors.
