Subject: coupe cable tension

ed i'm starting to put together my 415c. the service manual calls for
60-70lbs tension on the rudder cables and 160-190 lb on the elevator. i have
the proper tensionmeters to measure the 1/8( rudder) and 5/32(elevator)
cables. when you look at the faa airframe hand book is shows a chart for
cable tension for a 7x19 1/8 cable at 60 degress F to be 60 lbs and the 5/32
at 60F to be 80. do you know which is right ? do i have the wrong diameter
cables ? the 1/4 cable at 60F has a load of 190 lbs. it just seems that
160-190 is awfully high for the 5/32 when compared to the 1/8 ideas ? bernie
