Hi Ed! I just got this from my friend. I have heard that other airports in Virginia can't get 100LL. I wonder if any of our other Ercoupers around the country are having similar problems?? If so, this makes the Ethanol question in auto fuels even more important. I have the auto gas stc but prefer to use 100LL, however, I may have to change. Please post this to the group. THANKS! We could order it from Canada, but I found out today, it will cost over $2 a gallon more than our current price. Also, we would have to wait until another airport orders fuel to fill out the load. There is supposed to be fuel at the Richmond Terminal the first week in November. AvGas is considered a "Boutique Fuel" and is not produced in large quantities relative to car gas. We did not receive any indications from our fuel supplier that there was currently a problem. Typically, you place the order one day and it arrives the next. Obviously they are not currently able to do that. I will buy fuel from Canada, but my guess is that you would prefer to wait. It would cost a little less than $6/gallon. I have issued a NOTAM for fuel unavailable. Let me know your thoughts, Bill L.
