Hi All,
The following is from Dennis Spiegel. For some reason he can't post to the Tech Site, so I'm putting it on for him. Syd

Hi Everyone, I had an incident a couple years ago with my header tank that may be an occurrence you all may have too. First: my tank developed a weep and the drip would swell then drip inside the cockpit --not a pleasant smell after a while . We pulled the tank and fixed the leak ( at an approved shop) while there it was noted the filler neck was canted forward and the top area of the tank was slightly collapsed. we straightened the neck which pulled out the collapse but also saw that the over flow was blocked due to the slight bow in the top of the header tank.. As a result my header tank cap blew fuel out the vent hole. If this is confusing call me it's fixed and no problems 8474361771. Wierd stuff happens over the years . Why was the filler neck leaning forward I haven't a clue. Heavy fuel hoses and nozzles maybe. while fueling . Dennis in ILL
