TROUBLED CARBURETOR MAKER FINDS SUITOR
There may be a reprieve in sight for owners of Precision Airmotive carburetors. 
Claiming a 
total inability to find product liability insurance, the company's carburetor 
arm announced on 
Nov. 1 that it was suspending carburetor and carburetor parts shipments. But 
now a move is 
afoot to acquire Precision Airmotive. A group including Tim Henderson, 
president of Aero 
Accessories Inc., and others involved in the Tempest brand of general aviation 
products have 
reached a tentative agreement to acquire Precision's line of carburetors and 
spare parts.
