I've noticed wind pressure holding my wing quantity wires up, but not my cowl tank. My cowl tank indicator has a glass tube keeping the wind off. Go crazy and buy one from John Cooper. Since that tank is your "blue parachute", I'd rate a good reading indicator up there in desirability.
