Hi fellow Coupers, My name is John Brier and I own a 1958 Forney. I have owned this great little airplane for seven years and bought it from a fellow who had owned it the previous 37 years. It has always been in Maine, but it is spending the winter here in Florida with me. I have it hangared at LAL. Thank you for the responses regarding the items need to do AD 81-07-06. I am retired airline type, and didn't become involved with GA until I retired. I have owned three airplanes; a Cessna 172, a M20F Mooney and of course the Forney. I sold the others, but enjoy the Coupe so much I will keep it. Economy, open cockpit, stable, and a real people catcher where ever you go. Look forward to the chat group.
