Latest issue of Coupe Capers has an ad for a "project" 'Coupe with
rag wings for $5,500. Maybe you can just get the wings...

Hi All, My thoughts only: rather than convert, it probably would be a
better financial decision to purchase or swap to what ever your
preference might be.My understanding that there are some subtle
differences between the wings the rag and metal.I prefer Rag (thats
what I have.)So there you have it.BTW there aren't a lot of shops
around that mite do the conversion.I would imagine it's labor
intensive.I think a 337 would be needed too..den

Has anyone in the group actually done this conversion? I would share
your concerns that after drilling out the rivets the holes might be
too large for the PK screws.

I was wondering if it's possible to revert to fabric wings from metal?
Is there some damage to the structure (rivit holes or such) that
prevents it? I'm thinking of taking on a project in the spring and was
just wondering.

Thanks,
