I know this has been talked about a dozen times, so I guess once more won't hurt. At least not much!
My generator was removed and partially disassembled in order to replace the oil seal. After it was re-installed it does not appear to work. After having checked everything I can think of I have come to the conclusion that it has somehow lost its polarity. This brings me to 2 questions: 1. Can or will a generator lose its polarity if disconnected? 2. What is the procedure for "flashing" a generator? Thanks Tommy N93929
