What a coincidence! Last summer while I was giving Young Eagle rides a woman came over and asked if her friend Mary could get a ride. She said Mary was 87 years old, and had never been in an airplane in her life. We had a lull in kids, and I agreed. We helped Mary into the airplane and I took her around Wausau and around Rib Mountain. She said, "Wow, this is wonderful! It's like riding a motorcycle!" I showed her how to fly the plane, and she flew for about 5 minutes, with a huge smile on her face the whole time. After the flight she and the other woman, Joan, thanked me about 15 times each. On three days ago Joan called me and asked if I could give Mary a certificate. I told her that the only certificates that I had access to were Young Eagle certificates. She said that would be fine, and told me the address where to send it. She also said that Mary told her that the flight in the Ercoupe was the greatest thrill in her entire life. The same evening I looked at my email and saw Ed's message below, about Tommy's certificates. They look great! I printed some off, made one out for Mary, and sent it out. Thank you Ed and Tommy.

Tommy Terry, one of our great forum moderators, has created a certificate you can give your passengers after you've taken them for Coupe flights.

Starting with the classic advertising photo of the Coupe over/in front of the Mall and the Washington monument and adding scroll-work and text, Tommy made a nice certificate.

I've uploaded two versions of this to the tech files section, both as .jpg images. One is sized to print as an 8 x 10 and the other as an 8½ x 11. (Just ignore your print program's complaint that the image is bigger than the printable margins - the certificate has its own white border area and nothing will be lost.)

Feel free to print a dozen and keep them in your plane to give to your passengers to commemorate their ride in a classic beauty.
