Jack asked if it's OK to post the e-bay parts list on tech, like he did on
flyin. Compliments to you, Jack, for the way you posted that info, with a
link, and for asking for info.

Here are my thoughts for guidelines on posting e-bay parts. If anyone
disagrees, please send me your thoughts. Perhaps off-list would be best to
not clutter up the forum. If there's significant disagreement, we can
discuss it publically.

If they're Coupe parts (and those posted by Jack are) then it's OK to post
them on tech. In this case, since they've already been posted on flyin,
please put in a note saying that it's a one-time exception that you've
double posted and you'll just mention Coupe parts on tech ONLY in the
future.

I'm feeling mixed feelings about posting links on behalf of unknown ebay
sellers more than just occasionally. Was that a single seller or just a
listing of everything Coupe-ish all on one page?

If it's you selling the items and it's a one-time or rare thing, then it's
quite alright for you to mention it and provide a link - just like you did,
Jack (excellent). If it's a rare or one-time thing and the items are
specifically of interest to Coupe pilots/owners, then that could be OK, too.

If you're going to sell consistently, then it's better to just put your
business info and link in your signature block so it gets seen every time
you post a regular message on the forum. (See John Cooper's Skyport
signature block as an example.)

So, not a simple answer, but I hope it provides good guidelines. Please let
me know if you have other suggestions.

Ed
