Some people, with (presumably) a bill of sale for the "aircraft," will rebuild an aircraft from parts, affix the data plate, claim that they've repaired the aircraft. Sometimes they sell it with no mention of the damage history. I thought I heard that the FAA was cracking down on that practice. Ed
