I have seen many Ercoupes jacked up by placing a steel rod in the hole
on the landing gear where the knee joint is located. Then, once the
rod is in place, lifting it with a floor jack. On my Ercoupe, there
is no hole in the Knee joint on the main gear. It appear to be filled
in with a big bolt. Has anyone seen this before?
