At Deer Valley KDVT airport in Phoenix we have probably 500 aircraft of various
kinds, one of the most active general aviation airports in the country, We
have about 350 flying days in the year. It may get hot here in the summer, but
we never have to shovel the sunshine off of the runway!!!!!!!
  Visit us sometime!!

What fantasy land do you live in? 9 Coupes on one field? How does it feel
to live in Heaven?

I did not have even the slightest idea that there was that kind of
concentration anywhere. I thought that there being a half dozen within 50
miles was a lot, but you’ve sure got that beat.

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Dihedral, various models

          Hi Gang,

I measured several Coupes today for my info and here is the result:

    415-C N99573 S/N 2196

    415-CD N3989H 4690

    415-C N93405 728

    415-CD N3314H Unk

    F1-A N3056G 5759

    MOONEY CADET N9551V Unk

All of these measured 7 degrees of dihedral. There were several others on
the field, but this was a representative cross section , from an older, to a
later, a Forney and a Mooney.

We probably have a total of a dozen or so,9 in open tiedown areas, and more
in hangars that I havn't seen yet.,

This is just info to add to the tremendous storehouse of knowledge that
this group has . I enjoy reading the mail every day, always something new and
interesting, even to an old timer like me

       Reards,

    Couper 3989 Tom
