Darick, I have Titan Nickel Carbide cylinders. I installed them as part of a major overhaul 200 hours ago. Very happy with them. Easy to install, broke in right away, don't use much oil (I use the Phillips 20w 50 as recomended by ECI for break-in and for year round flying). My compresion is still 79/80 on all cylinders last time I checked. A friend of mine used Millennium cylinders and is having compresion problems after 60 hours. But, he only flys about 10 hours a year.
Good luck with your project, Randy Hougham Grandpa's Ercoupe NC87384 ----- Original Message ----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: ercoupe tech Sent: Monday, January 28, 2008 7:48 PM Subject: [SPAM][ercoupe-tech] ECI Nickel Carbide barrels Does anybody have ECI Nickel Carbide (Titan) cylinders? I know one well known person in the tech group highly recommends them, especially for engines that don't get run very much during the winter months. Darick
