Just agreeing with Glenn on this subject, guys n gals
During my transision from 6 years of flying a (high wing)
Challenger II "Clipped" Clip Wing and feet work'n the rudders,
to the low wing Ercoupe no rudder petals, oh what differance a day
makes! Though I did many hours training and my S.P. Ck ride in a
coupe with peddles.
Here's my 2 pennys
As Glen mentioned, and as I was taught, 80 mph in the pattern,
70 mph on final, 60 mph at flair, this has worked well for me in
my coupe. Knowing also I can adjust my speed(s) as I feel conditions
warrant, for Xwinds, ect.
.
An open mind should be open to learning, I live, fly, and also
joined the coupe groups with an open mind.
*Not as many hours in a coupe as most, but more than a few.
Keep the Blue Side Up :-)
