Hello all,

I am the owner of a 1958 Forney (F-1). I have recently had an annual done
with a new mechanic and am very unimpressed by the thoroughness of is work and
the largess of his bill. With this in mind I have decided to undertake my own
inspection as a back up to the A&P's.

With this in mind I am curious about other Forney's out there the Coupe
community. I counted about 130 members with Forney's. Mine has spent most of
it's life in Maine on tie down (over asphalt) and the previous owner took great
care of it. He owned the airplane for over 30 years and I have had it for
seven. I have had it hangared since 2000. I have seen no signs of corrosion
anywhere on the plane. I have not had the spar cap inspected yet. The airframe
as 2250 hours on it.

N26C has been in Florida now for a year and is hangared. I had it Corrosion
X'd on the previous annual I would appreciate any info from Forney owners
regarding corrosion, wing spar condition etc.

Thanks very much. See you all at Sun & Fun. My airplane is based here in
Lakeland.

Best regards, John Brier
