Fellow Coupers
Sadly I flew N94191 for the last time on Saturday under my
guidance. She is now sold and in the hands of a fine gentleman from South
Carolina. I want to thank all of you for your help. I could not have endured
this adventure without your advice and support. While there where many who
helped, a special thanks needs to go out to Ed & John who are true treasures to
this group. I will truly miss (No Really) the bantering that goes on this list
about Coupes, Rules, Politics and a million other subjects. I have 2 teenage
boys (14 & 15) that are now over 6 feet and put me over gross when they want to
go for a ride (I blame this on my wifes cooking). The boys have their eyes set
on becoming commercial pilots, so after they (and I) master flying gliders this
summer, I will be looking for something a little bigger with IFR capabilities
so they may learn their craft. I will miss flying the coupe and I suspect that
someday near retirement I will once again have a coupe
in my hanger, until then, happy flying!
