Kevin,
It first depends whether you are having the original sized windows or already a
cut out bigger sized window.

If the window "frame" is already cut bigger then I suggest to stick with the
rubber window welt.
The problem with bigger sized, rectangular windows is that they are cut into
the curved, slightly bent section of the rear window sheet metal.

Here will be tension on the window glass, since it does not sit on a plan
surface anymore. So the rubber seal is the only way to go in that setup.
I had one plane where these oversized windows would always pop-out. It is nerve
wrecking.

Not so with my original style rear windows which are in there since probably 30
or more years. They are acryl and show no signs of cracking or glazing.
I polish them from time to time with acryl cleaner/polisher and I really like
the appearance.

I was about to drill the screw holes for my rear windows when itocured to me to
ask the group which window style everyone prefers.I have the seal kit but have
heard issues with the windows popping out.Windows don't pop out with the screws
but the glass has a chance ofcracking. What does the majority of the group
think,seal kit or screws ??????Kevin
