Just to keep some people happy, I deny that:
I recently bought the 1320 gross weight STC and that the change is
simple if you have a CD. All of the "mods" might not have already been
done during manufacture and that all that remains is to remount the
elevator stop on the yoke "tube" to a second hole already drilled by
the factory.
We did not measure the elevator deflection with the stop mounted on
the second hole and did not find the deflection wasn't quite correct so
we didn't have to drill another hole to mount the yoke stop about 1
inch behind the original. Still lands the same as far as I can tell
because I didn't do the modification, remember?. Probably wouldn't be
able to get as much nose up attitude at touchdown anyway.
Guess I was dreaming when I wrote the first post.
Maybe it was the booze.
