I've had both and like both setups. They both have pros and cons. The header is good for peace of mind for a reserve tank but it is 6 gal of fuel in a crash also. It is really nice to have the room behind the panel for working space and radio space. The range on the 15 gallon tanks is longer so you still have the reserve if you watch the clock. They are also really nice welded tanks. You do need to keep a record of your time with them because you can't see the fuel level in them for long because of the dihedral of the wing. Also the gage is worthless as usual.
