I routinely do power off and power on stalls in any plane I fly so I will be prepared should I ever get into one when I am not anticipating it. Should it happen, through this training I'll automatically do what is necessary. It is not that one is trying to put the plane into a spin, because the stall is relieved before the spin occurs. However it is good to receive spin training to remember how to recover from one. To those of you who never prepare, you may someday be read about in the obituaries along with the unfortunate passenger who might be flying with you. So to those of you who routinely approach legitimate questions in this forum in an earnest attempt to be of assistance, especially Ed, I extend my sincere appreciation. To those of you who routinely address questions with a smart ass answer in an attempt to inflate an already bloated ego, continue on with your effort, you are not being of service to this forum and are only confirming what most folks think of you anyway. This forum is to help folks, share our knowledge and experience and through that build respect and rapport. Many thanks to those who work toward that effort. Praise GOD they are the majority.
