Hi,
When I had my engine overhauled a few years ago, They sent it back with
some gold painted valve covers with the name Continental in raised
letters in red paint.. When the mechanic installed the engine he
apparently used other covers, because I just found them in the trunk of
my car wrapped in a plastic bag.

I would like to put them for sale on E Bay. The number on the inside of
the covers is "ALCOA 4528. Is that a good enough clue to tell
which model or cylinders they belong on? It is a Continental 85. I
want to get the description correct on E Bay to forestall questions from
the bidder that I cannot answer..

Thanks

Bill Coons
