There is a product called "Micro-mesh" it comes in a kit and is basically
sandpaper in grits from 1200 to 12000.
I had some bad paint overspray and pretty deep scratches on a windshield and it
polished out like new. It is worth a try.

You can get it from Wag Aero.
or
Here is the website:https://www.micro-surface.com/default.cfm?page_id=200

Here it is at about half price on e-bay

The e-bay stuff is the cotton backed micro-mesh but it works good if you cut a
stiff sponge to size as a backer. Use plenty of water with about 10 drops of
liquid soap per gallon. (or more, it is just for lubrication)
Keep the sandpaper flat and take long strokes. Start with the 1200 and end with
the 12000.
