Some years back I bought a 415C with a 360 channel radio. I looked at the Icom but decided to go with a "quality American radio". I decided on the King. I was told that in order to keep the warranty in force it would have to be installed by an "authorized" shop. It was pretty pricey whan done. Some years later I installed an Icom in a Cherokee and discovered that the radios were in effect identical. I wasn't a very happy camper. :-( Cheers: Paul N1431A KPLU
