Airtex does the most and will be the cheapest. They have all the patterns and
the standard fabric selection is pretty good.

Remember three things, weight, weight and weight.

The NASA foam weighs much more than regular foam, but you could specify to
Airtex to use a 1" layer on the seat and maybe 1/2" on the seat back. It will
add weight. Fabric weighs less than vinyl, so save an ounce here and an ounce
there.

  Subject: [ercoupe-tech] Seat Issues.....

I am restoring a 415C and there is nothing but the seat frame in the plane.
I would like to buy the upholstery/seats/cushions/webbing or obtain patterns.
Might be a good time to investigate high tech seat materials and procedures?
Seems like other Coupers are running into the same problem. Any ideas?
