I have fair skin, blue eyes, and am follically challanged. I fly with hat, UV sunglasses, and sunblock, and 'always' with the canopy open. I do not think an hour or so a week at 2 to 3,000 agl is any worse than yard work, the beach, or boating. I also have regular six-month checkups with a dermatologist. Roy
