Aviation consumer did an article on aircraft batteries and found the Concord superior to the Gill. There is an article in Coupe Capers from a month or two (or 3) ago with
more detail.

For all practical purposes, Ed and Mark are both correct. The only two available battery replacements for the original Reading R24-L (SN 113 and up) are the Concord CB-25 (22#) and RG-25 (22.75#) both at an arm of +55.
