Mitch:: Take it from me, that little Ercoupe is the most magnificent airplane out there. Those who know never question it's ability, it will do a better job landing with "NO" pedals than most pilots can do with two. It is already so well balanced and co-ordinated. With only one, one square foot rudder turning 18 to 20 degrees, it won't have enough authority to even matter, and it will screw up the place where you put your feet!
Think long and hard about this one. Ercoupe rudder pedals are ugly, and the gal's won't fly with you!
