I was told that in1947 ERCO sold a lot of its inventory to Saunders Aircraft.
And the ERCO Data Plates I have were part of this inventory.
Saunders had no use for the ERCO data plates, and continued to build Ercoupes
using a new Saunders data plate.
The UNUSED data plates I have are for an ERCO MODEL 415-C.
There's no way that I can authenticate the originality of them.
They were purchased as aircraft memorabilia at an antique market in the
Lancaster, Pa. area.
And legally should NOT be used as replacements for any former data plates.
