Gang It is my belief that the rubber baffling material that is on the right and left sides of the cylinders should be in the "up" position, forming a tight seal of air over the tops of the cylinders. I friend told me this is incorrect, it should be bent in the "down" position. This doesn't seem right to me as with it bent down, the air will have an area to escape, down toward the manifolds. I believe that the left and right cowling, when closed, should touch the baffling, creating the seal. Who is correct?
