Years ago, I had the same thing happen to my oil cap.  I was not able  to 
find a correct cap and dipstick.  If I remember correctly, nobody could  come 
up 
with the correct part number or part.  I bought a new one that  was much 
longer than needed, and cut the dipstick to the same length as the  original, 
which 
also cut off all of the factory calibration marks.  I then  calibrated and 
marked the dipstick by draining the oil and adding a quart  at time.  I used a 
sharp file to mark lines on the dipstick  and punch marks for the number of 
quarts.
