Is that an air scoop on the side of your Coupe in the picture? I bet you'd get a bit less drag if you put a screened opening in the nose bowl right where the very close propeller really pressurizes the air. That's where it was on my Coupe and I guarantee you wouldn't want more air flow than I had available.
