I have installed my rudder pedals with the foot brake. I had to 
fabricated a round pedal that provided sufficient clearance for the 
right rudder pedal. I also shifted the alignment on the brake assembly 
to move the arm more perpendicular to the firewall (mine had an 
significant angle toward the center line of the fuselage). It works 
well, although I would prefer to move it about half an inch or so more 
to the left.

Thr installation guide does not say that you have to remove the foot 
brake pedal. It suggests that the pedal pad needs to be trimmed.

Can you send me a copy of your picture? I don't get attachments since I 
only receive digests on my email.

There is an Ercoupe (N94157) for sale on E Bay that has rudder pedals, 
while keeping the brake pedal. First time I see this.
I tought you always lost the brake pedal when adding rudder pedals. Did 
I miss something here?
