I don't know about you, but I've never looked at my coupe as an aircraft to
save money on fuel.
At 5 GPH + I think it's the best deal on the planet. Like most of you, I fly
for fun. Really just for fun.
Or are some of you just foolish about the savings. I figured it out years ago
and so have you. Everything in aviation co$t$. Wanna sell your plane? Hell
no! Am I missing something in my 50 years of owning planes? Now if someone out
there can tell me a way to save on hangar rent or tolls to drive to my
airport. Ha Ha...The worst case scenario is that I pedal my bike 20 miles and
save
money on fuel for my car. I forgot to mention that they don't permit bikes on
the airport property. Oh I just remembered, I don't even own a bike. Anyone
who would actually go through all that trouble to save less then 10 cents a
mile can't really be having fun flying? Or can they????
