My mechanic tore down my C-85 trying to find the cause of the excessive oil usage and found all four cylinders were pitted from rust. I decided to replace them with the nickel-carbide coated Titan cylinders to help eliminate the corrosion problems associated with long periods of inactivity due mainly to our unsuitable grass runway conditions during the winter months.
I've been trying to find the best discount on these cylinders from distributors. So far A.E.R.O. (cheapcylinders.com) has the best price. Can anyone recommend an ECI distributor giving a good discount? thanks, Darick Gundy Based at 07N, south central PA.
