I noticed that some Ercoupes don't have the breather line routed over the back of the engine. Since this is basically an extension of the breather line on the outside where it goes up for a few inches first, it should give you a significant improvement over a straight down line . Hartmut

At that time it was concluded that the crankcase vent insert was too short and oil was being pushed out by the splashing of oil in the case.
