Thanks again to everyone that helped me out with the nose gear bottom
bushing failure analysis. Whoever assembled the nose gear last, or
serviced it, did not align the fasteners properly and the bushing slid
out down the strut my last landing last weekend. Sounds like no one
has had a similar experience before. If you do the vibration and
shimmy will certainly get your attention. Maybe something to look for
in pre-purchase inspections. The bushing has been reassembled and works
fine again.
