Hey there Prof.Ed, Cost of annuals got you down? I paid $1,300 four years ago, $1,100 three years ago, $900 two years ago, $600 last year, and $500 this year. An oil change is about $100. Putting spin-on filter on and doing your own oil changes drops that to $40, the cost of the oil.
The A&P at 3k6 knows Ercoupes fairly well. Fly your Coupe in, visit the Arch, the Zoo, take in a Cardinal's game, stay on the Levee (St Louis' play area), and pay for the whole trip with what you save on your annual.
