I don't know about interchanability of wings would think all Erco wings
would interchange but leave it up to the experts. As far a a spar cap
had a bit of experience with this. Was considering the purchase of a
bird in which the lower spar cap was damaged in the process of cutting
the holes for the swiss cheese AD. An engineer looked at the damage and
was concerned relative to stress on the spar. Also talked to a number
of mechanics who said the only reasonable fix was to replace the wing.
Replacing the spar cap is a major repair lots of rivits need to be
removed and replaced which is very time consuming To make a long story
short decided to walk away from the aircraft. As for the AD screwup its
my understanding that more than a few wings were damaged in that the
measurements on where to cut the hole left little room for error.
Somewhere along the line someone told me Univar has a fix. Anyway to
answer your question spar cap replace = lots of time and $ unless you
can do it yourself
