I'm a strong believer in the Marvel carbs, have used them for years. Advantages are a good float system, no leaks and dom't have to shut off fuel when setting, they have an acelleration pump so rapid throttle opening won't stall the engine. Mixture control is more smoother and controllable.. Parts are readily available as they are in current production, being made by Temoest since Precision had legal problems. Currently used by Continental in the O-200 series engines. The Continental part no. for the C-75/85 is 62736, the Marvel no. is10-4240-1. I have bought several on E_Bay for around $500.00. I know some old timers still like the old carbs but this I consider a valuable upgrade for both performance and safety. Tom Couper 3989H
