Spin recovery is not difficult 1 stick forward- break the stall 2 opposite rudder--- step on the ball 3 level off gently 4 add power
I am old enough that demonistrated spin recovery was required for a PP did mine in a Luscombe. Would not hurt my feeling if it was still required Have done 5/6 turn spins in a citabria and cessna aerobat. Aerobats are placarded against spins with full flaps. Young and dumb found they go inverted with full flaps. Globe swifts spin very tight being so short coupled but recover well. Have a rule never bank more than 30 degress below 2000 agl and carry 1.4 stall speed while turning - No stall no spin. Most modern aircraft will not really spin but just spiral but the end result is the same their lawn darts. I found that you loose about 800 foot in a one rotation spin if you recover clean. Higher wing loadings seem to decend faster. The more turns the tighter the spin. I never could get a real spin out of my tripacer just big spirals and never tried the commanche. Laminar flow wing stall was interesting enough. I think a coupe could be spun (spiraled) -contrary to the placard- by hard accelerated power on stall slamming her off to one side and holding the wheel back. Think she might roll opposite and spin but no desire to find out.
