It is always a good idea to periodically go out and full stall the 
airplane at a safe altitude, note the airspeed, then multiply the stall 
speed by 1.3 (50 mph x 1,3 =65 mph)then use that speed for final 
approach airspeed.  Add 5 mph for the wife an kids if you want, and 
half the gust factor.
This will ensure that you have a good handle on what your final 
approach airspeed should be on the airpeed indicator installed in your 
aircraft.  And don't worry.  It won't spin.
