Wright State University hosts groups in its dorms during the summer.
The Ohio CAP encampment is there for a week every summer, and they are
used to coordinating with Wright-Patt since both are in Fairborn. I
second my friend (I hope) Dean Imber's recommendation of the Hope
Hotel for retired military.
Word to the wise: if you desire to do either or both of the Air Force
One or Behind the scenes restoration tour, prior reservations are
required as base access is needed. If the Group goes forward with
Dayton, I'd be happy to liase with Museum staff to try to arrange a
special group tour of the renovation hangars where the Swoose, Memphis
Belle and multiple other aircraft are in various stages of completion.
